1. Promotion for the students in classes L.K.G. and H.K.G. is granted on the basis of the quality of regular and satisfactory work done during the whole year.
  2. Promotion for the students from classes I to VIII is granted on the basis of the grade obtained in Term-1, Term-2 during the whole year.
  3. Promotion for the students from classes IX to X is granted on the basis of the grade obtained in the Annual Examination.
  4. Promotion for the students in Class XI Science and Commerce is granted on the basis of Quarterly, Half-yearly and final Examination.
  5. Minimum 75% attendance is required for appearing in the Final Examination.
  6. The Principal is the final judge of a student’s fitness for promotion.
  7. (a) The Promotion policy for classes I to VIII is based on the following 8 points grading system in all academic subjects.
    91 to 100            –    A1
    81 to 90              –    A2
    71 to 80              –    B1
    61 to 70              –    B2
    51 to 60              –    C1
    41 to 50              –    C2
    33 to 40              –    D
    32 & Below       –    E (Needs improvement)

(b) If a child gets ‘E’ grade in one or more subjects, he/she will be given one chance for improving the grade. If the child doesn’t improve he/she may be advised to repeat the class with the consent of the parents. This is applicable for students from class I to VIII.

(c) The Promotion policy for classes IX & X is based on the following 8 points grading system in all academic subjects.
91 to 100              –    A1
81 to 90                –    A2
71 to 80                –    B1
61 to 70                –    B2
51 to 60                –    C1
41 to 50                –    C2
33 to 40                –    D
32 & Below         –    E (Failed)
