• Tests and examinations are means of assessing the child’s performance in his/her studies. A Progress Report will be issued after the Final Examination for classes I-XII.
  • For Classes I to VIII
    • There will be two terms during the course of the year.
      Term -I                (1 April to Sep. 30)
      Term – II              (I Oct. to March 31)
    • The following assessments will be conducted during Term -I and Term–II:
      Term -I      Periodic Test-1, Notebook Submission, Subject Enrichment and Half Yearly
      Term – II   Periodic Test-2, Notebook Submission, Subject Enrichment and Yearly
  • For Classes IX & X
    • The following assessments will be conducted during the year:
      Periodic Test-1, Periodic Test-2, Periodic Test-3, Notebook Submission, Subject Enrichment and Annual Examination.
  • Students absenting from any of these assessments will not be re-examined whatever may be the reason. No student shall be promoted to the next class without appearing for the assessment.
  • The results of the assessments are final and will not be reconsidered.
  • Student who did not appear in one or more subjects in any of the assessments for unavoidable reasons shall only be considered for “Promotion”, provided they get their leave sanctioned in time by the Principal.
    Absence from a subject test disqualifies the pupil from being reckoned in the order of merit in an examination.
  • Any irregularity detected during or subsequent to an examination is punishable with expulsion from the examination hall and to further action at the Principal’s discretion. The answer paper of such a student will not be assessed.
  • Children who are ill should not be sent to school to attend class or take the tests. The sickness affects the pupil’s score and may be contagious.

Every report must be signed by the parent or guardian and returned by the student to his/her class teacher the day after it is given to the student to take home to show his/her parents.
